SAT/ACT Scores Required For Admission
If you are looking to get into the University of Michigan, then you should know that the school does not require SAT/ACT scores to apply. In the academic year 2021/2022, 63% of applicants submitted their test scores. This is quite a small percentage compared to the 97 percent that submitted their scores for the same academic year.
The university does not require SAT/ACT scores, but students who have a strong academic record should still submit their test scores. The national average score is 1060 for the SAT. While it is not required for Michigan to admit applicants with scores under this range, students should submit them regardless of their grade point average. This will help the school determine the course placement of students. In addition, students who have an impressive athletic record should consider submitting their test scores as well.
Applicants with an ACT composite score of 31 or higher should expect a difficult time getting accepted. However, it is still possible to get in with an ACT score as low as 32. ACT scores are typically in the top five percent of the nation, but a score under this level is still very competitive. If you want to attend the University of Michigan, you should aim for a score in the top half of applicants, as this means you’ll have the best chances.

Greek Life
If you’re interested in joining a Greek organization, there are many to choose from. The University of Michigan Greek community includes over 200 students in 11 nationally recognized Greek organizations, and is made up of both sororities and fraternities. There are specific requirements and minimum grade point averages for each sorority and fraternity, but these can easily be found on the chapter presidents’ websites. The guiding principles of each organization’s culture are different from the other, but there’s one thing they all have in common: you should be an excellent student!
The problem with Greek life is that it prioritizes the societal ideal of perfection, reiterating the idea of elites. This is especially true among the top Greek organizations, which are typically full of beautiful, white, and well-groomed individuals. Despite its negative reputation, Clark’s speech emphasized the need to hold Greek institutions accountable for the inequalities they promote. Ultimately, abolishing Greek life would require a more thorough investigation of the systems of inequality that are embedded in the University of Michigan.
Before you decide to join a fraternity, you should take Greek 101, an information session for those interested in learning more about sororities and fraternities. This session will provide you with important information regarding commitments, academic requirements, and various policies of sororities and fraternities. Attending this session before accepting a membership bid is highly recommended. And remember, you can always join another sorority if you want to, but it’s important to remember that your experience is different.
There are over 60 sororities and fraternities at the University of Michigan, and there are many on campus. While sports are certainly a part of university life, sororities are a large part of it. The University of Michigan is home to more than 600,000 living alumni. But there are still concerns about Greek life, and the IFC has decided to suspend social activities and new member education programs.
There have been several incidents of racism against sororities and fraternities on campus, with sororities and fraternities accused of cultural appropriation. For example, a party at the University of California Polytechnic State was a Thanksgiving-themed event, and a beer olympics was held at Columbia University, which was considered culturally inappropriate. At the University of Michigan, however, Beta Theta Pi has helped students like Karis Clark, a student who’s joining a Greek organization, find a home away from theatre.
